Welcome to Embroidery Now
IN THE BEGINNING OF THE YEAR CLASSES WILL BE RUN ONLINE USING ZOOM,
BUT I HOPE TO BE BACK TO IN-PERSON CLASSES BY THE AUTUMN
Welcome to “Embroidery Now” classes based at the Quaker Meeting House in Winchester. These are informal and friendly classes in a variety of hand-embroidery techniques.
The classes are small (usually no more than 10 per class) and run between 10:00 and 16:00, so you will get a fair share of the tutor’s time.
Online classes are usually run in two sessions, lasting about two and a half hours, on two different days.
Unless otherwise stated, all classes are suitable for both beginners and the more experienced embroiderer as our tutors will tailor the teaching according to the needs of each student.
Our tutors are all experienced embroiderers, and the majority have been trained at the Royal School of Needlework.
